What is the PTO?

Our Mission

The Pershing Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is a non-profit parent organization whose mission is to establish and nurture a close relationship between the parents, teachers and students by advancing opportunities in the home, school, and community. The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in classroom settings, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction and provides a nonbiased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our students. It is our belief that the team effort of a PTO offers the best possible learning environment for our Pershing students.
